Technical Requirements
1. The design, manufacturing and inspection of vacuum storage tank mainly according to GB/T18442.1~6-2019 "Static vacuum insulated cryogenic pressure vessel", and can also follow international standards such as ASME.
2. The inner vessel is used to store liquid argon, and the shell material is austenitic stainless steel, which has good low temperature resistance. The outer shell plays a protective role and provides reliable protection for the interlayer insulation material and vacuum degree.
3. The interlayer is insulated by vacuum powder, and the insulation material is made of perlite, which greatly reduces heat intrusion, reduces the evaporation rate of cryogenic liquid, and ensures long-term storage.
4. The storage tank is equipped with stainless steel cryogenic globe valve, combined vacuum valve (including vacuum gauge to measure the vacuum degree of the insulation layer at any time), safety valve, relief device, pressure gauge, liquid level gauge and other valve instruments;
5. In order to meet the pressurization requirements of the storage tank, a pressure build-up vaporizer is equipped at the bottom of the tank.
6. The inner vessel is equipped with two sets of independent over-pressure relief devices to effectively ensure the safety of the tank. In addition, the safety explosion-proof devices installed on the outer vessel further ensure the safety and reliability of the entire equipment.
7. For the inner vessel of the storage tank, 100% Radiographic Testing (RT) is first performed on Category A and Category B welded joints. This is followed by 100% Penetrant Testing (PT) on all welded joints. After ensuring that the non-destructive testing results are qualified, a pneumatic test is conducted on the inner vessel. Finally, each weld and joint is subjected to a leak test using a helium mass spectrometer leak detector.
8. The finished paint film on the outer surface of the storage tank is dense, firm and reliable, and the dry film thickness of the paint is greater than 200 µm.
9. The tank needs to be replaced with nitrogen before leaving the factory. Fill the interior of the liquid container with 0.03~ 0.05Mpa pressure nitrogen gas for protection.
10. The liquid argon vacuum storage tank is easy to install and have low maintenance costs. It is widely used in industrial welding, electronics industry, photovoltaic industry, battery industry, etc.
